Key Responsibilities of the Production Technician
Prepare, sterilise, and set up the fermentation vessels while ensuring all necessary health and safety, and process checks are completed.
Operate and maintain a range of production and utility equipment, such as vessels, centrifuges, filters, boilers, compressors, generators, chillers, and effluent holding tanks.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating them as necessary, and perform process equipment maintenance.
The Production Technician will support the Fermentation Supervisor in daily operational tasks. Qualifications required for the Production Technician
The ideal Production Technician will have prior experience in a Chemical Manufacturing environment.
Strong experience in a similar or relevant industry, with the ability to troubleshoot, fault-find, and resolve engineering issues effectively.
A solid understanding of mechanical maintenance, including working with pumps, mixers, and valves.
