DCT Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Cleaning Operations Manager for our client based in Wirral.
Our clients range from commercial property owners and managing agents, industrial sites, private business portfolios, student accommodation, and the hospitality sector.
As part of our continued expansion, an experienced Service Manager is required to add to the current operational team with responsibility for the following services:
1. Commercial Window Cleaning services.
2. Rope Access and other working at height activities.
3. Industrial and general cleaning operations.
4. Kitchen Fan and Extract Cleaning.
5. Waste Management contracts.
You will be active in the day-to-day management of a team of employees that include operatives, administrative support staff, and sub-contractors. You will show excellent commercial awareness in relation to job costing and budgeting, have proven experience of successful man management, and be committed to delivering a high standard of service to customers both internal and external. Clear communicative skills and the ability to tackle problems head-on, whilst undertaking your role in a professional manner at all times, is essential.
You will be flexible within the broad remit of the post and have proven experience of calmly handling and resolving difficult and challenging situations and be able to deal with clients at all levels. You must have a good level of IT literacy, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Cloud-based CRM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Dealing and managing all day-to-day company operational issues.
2. Liaise with management and clients on all aspects of service delivery, responding to requests and complaints in line with company policy.
3. Performance management of your team including ongoing staff training and development, health and safety, and any ad-hoc training requirements.
4. Managing and implementing work schedules and the organizing of reactive and planned services.
5. Establish and maintain new and existing client relationships and act as the main point of contact for operational delivery issues and management.
6. Generate and follow up new business opportunities, organizing and attending meetings with clients as the company requires.
7. Specify and price work, providing clients with written quotations and reports, and where required completing Health and Safety paperwork and reports.
8. Ensure job profitability through constant evaluation of procedures and work methodologies.
9. Responsibility for the Quality Control of your department.
10. Reporting of all operational-related issues to senior management.
