Youresponsible for driving growth through data engineering and tooling. Your primary focus will be to work with our Sales team to attract new customers while also ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations, including unsubscribes and vulnerable population guidelines.The roleAs the Sales team's first dedicated back end engineer, while collaborating with the wider acquisition tech team, you will be responsible for leading sales tech initiatives. As well as being the bridge from the product & data science colleagues in the team, to the rest of tech. Initially, you will focus on facilitating the new sales acquisition model, responsible for lead selection and targeting.The projects youwork on are diverse and demand a strong proficiency in multiple technologies, primarily Python and SQL. Your tasks may include feature engineering for machine learning models, data validation, integrating with external APIs, developing internal tools, creating REST APIs, and managing databases.The requirementsEssential:Solid Python software engineering experience.Solid SQL experience.Happy working in an unstructured, dynamic and autonomous environment.Bonus:Mastery of SQL-Alchemy, Scikit-learn, pandas, and PostgreSQL.Familiarity of designing, building, and managing relational databases.Strong numerate background, i.e. maths, physics, com-sci, engineering etc.DevOps exposure: i.e. containerization, continuous integration\/deployment (CI\/CD).The salaryWe expect to pay from for this role.
