The role is a full time, permanent, field-based position, requiring regular travel and is responsible for planning and executing their sales activity to provide successful sales results within key clinical organisations competing for new accounts and gaining market share in line with the sales and marketing strategy YOUR MISSION Your main responsibilities will include: Prospect for new business opportunities on the assigned territory whilst utilising product knowledge to gain a competitive advantage. Demonstrate an understanding of each account with the territory in terms of its entire customer base and timeframes. Achieve revenue and profitability targets as defined by the sales and marketing strategy. Understand how to successfully engage customers through to a senior level by understanding their partnership needs and how best to serve them throughout a tender period. Act as a conduit for our customers to access all internal or external individuals that will meet their needs to provide the best customer experience at all times. Provide core product knowledge and support both pre and post tender. Input to tenders on territory (positioning, appropriate solution, pricing). Review of completed tender response for accuracy and compliance prior to submission. Coordinates and participates in promotional events, trade shows / conventions on territory Propose solutions and innovation to better serve our customers to the wider management team as we build our success together. YOUR COMPETENCIES Relevant education to degree standard or equivalent in biology, chemistry, lab medicine sciences or other related disciplines Have significant selling experience of selling capital equipment and consumable in the medical device and / or diagnostic industry Experience of selling Autoimmune and/or Allergy products Experience of strategic account management and the ability to influence within a hierarchical structure in an account Be able to demonstrate proven winning sales performance particularly in competitive wins. Strong commercial skills and financial acumen Tender writing experience.
