About the role: This role will be in Flex’s small but efficient and fun Marketing team alongside our Marketing Executive, Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing. Our team works closely with Flex’s Commercial and Success teams, collaborating on our mission to inspire and enable the legal workforce of the future. The role is ideal for a confident, energetic team player who has the drive to make a difference. With a creative mind and passion for generating new marketing ideas, working from your own initiative and exploring new avenues, you will be an incredibly strong communicator with a keen eye for detail and a love for copywriting. The day-to-day role will involve creating content and working on campaigns across our channels to both our client and candidate audiences, with an ability to tailor your tone as required. Your main focus will be copywriting for social posts, emails and other short content as well as working with internal and external stakeholders to write longer form blogs, articles and reports. You will also be required to design graphics for our social channels, emails, blogs and print collateral using Canva. By growing our team, we hope to spread the word about all the fantastic work we do at Flex, so that each and every legal professional across the industry is familiar with our brand and knows how we can support their team when they need us. Main activities: Independently write compelling copy for a range of sophisticated legal audiences, and tailor it for use across our various channels as web copy, social posts, blogs, reports, press releases, award entries and more. Work with internal experts to produce compelling thought leadership content. Work with our Paralegals, Lawyers, Flex Trainee and Sales teams to ensure marketing activity is aligned with the goals of the whole business. Generate new ideas for marketing campaigns and collaborate with the Marketing team on our yearly social media strategy, and input into wider marketing strategy. Manage our LinkedIn, Google and other online advertising. Graphic design for various campaigns and channels, especially social media. Support with events organisation, promotion and presence. Report campaign and asset performance to the Marketing team and wider business. About you: Essential: Humanities degree (preferably related to creative writing or marketing) or equivalent work experience. 3 years in a mid-level marketing delivery role ( please note Flex is only accepting applications from candidates with at least 3 years experience ) Experience in independently leading full marketing campaigns from start to finish. Excellent communication, both verbally and in writing, and experience of professional copywriting for a variety of audiences. Experience in using Canva and/or the Adobe Suite to design marketing materials. A good portfolio of professional writing and design work. Confidence in sharing and presenting ideas, virtually and in person. Experience of managing professional social media channels. Website content management or updating experience. Desirable: Experience in managing LinkedIn and Google ads. Experience in video editing. Experience and knowledge of the legal industry. We are a Disability Confident employer.
