Base pay range

They are recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to lead one of the largest divisions of the group structure. The business has several revenue streams and has benefited from recent leadership changes, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a focused and commercial senior leadership team.
Your new role as Finance Manager:
As Finance Manager, you will oversee the production of accurate and timely management information to stakeholders, ensuring they are well-informed with timely financial information in relation to operations. This will involve creating, developing, and improving existing management information to enhance the understanding of non-financial managers and the key performance indicators affecting their business.
You will work closely with the Operations team to improve their understanding of the financial impact of decisions, assisting them in making informed choices that impact financial performance and the wider Group. The role involves leading and overseeing effective Business Partnering within your team to support relevant areas of the business, ensuring financial input into planning and execution of projects is completed.
The Finance Manager will lead the budget process, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting, so the business performs as per agreed expectations while developing and improving existing operational finance systems and processes. This includes ensuring they are efficient, effective, and fit for purpose for users and customers.
The Finance Manager is responsible for relevant Balance Sheets, ensuring adequate financial controls are in place and that all balance sheet account reconciliations are carried out in a timely manner, with discrepancies investigated and resolved. You will provide accurate information to all stakeholders, operating within Group and legal requirements.
You and your team will support the delivery of assurance against all regulatory and legislative requirements, including the delivery of annual statutory accounts. This will involve building strong relationships with internal and external auditors to ensure accuracy of financial information.
The Finance Manager and their team will embed a Value for Money (VFM) culture, contributing to the strength of the Group. You will also manage long-term projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget, with any variations understood by relevant managers.
It is your responsibility to develop a team culture with high levels of employee engagement and motivation, ensuring customers receive the highest levels of service. The finance teams and customers must be kept well-informed with timely financial information regarding operations and relevant implications.
Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:
To be considered, you must be formally qualified (ACA ACCA CIMA) and have experience operating at a senior level. You should maintain a solid understanding of statutory accounting requirements in either practice or industry and possess the skills to work closely with stakeholders as a true business partner. Strong communication skills are essential to partner with non-financial stakeholders across the organisation.
