About the Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with students aged 3 to 19, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs. This full-time, term-time position requires someone who can make a positive impact on the academic and personal development of students with additional needs. Working Hours : 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with a range of special educational needs. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and caregivers to implement personalised support plans. Foster a positive and nurturing environment to enhance students' social, emotional, and academic development. Assist with classroom activities, behaviour management, and implementing interventions to support progress. Adapt strategies to suit the unique needs of each student. Requirements Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are highly prioritised. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students and staff. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students with additional needs.
