We are seeking an experienced specialist with talent, expertise, and ambition in service management and leadership. We can offer the opportunity to work on innovative solutions that will transform scientific research and healthcare delivery in the NHS.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Thames Valley and Surrey (TVS) Secure Data Environment (SDE) Programme hosted by Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH). They will take responsibility for the design, implementation and operation of the TVS SDE service organisation - delivering SDE services to users for this important national programme, led by NHS England's Data for R&D Programme.

Successful design and delivery of this service - and the people, processes, tools and data therein - is key for the realisation of programme benefits and strategic objectives. Working with academic and NHS colleagues across the TVS region, the post holders will have the satisfaction of seeing their service management systems and processes in use: improving patient care and supporting cutting-edge research.

Person Specification
Service
* Expert knowledge of service management and delivery acquired through a combination of specialist training and relevant study (e.g. health management, service management) to Master's degree or equivalent level
* Extensive experience establishing service management capability ideally within the NHS or other healthcare setting
* Experience with service management infrastructure implementation
Leadership
* Ability to articulate, influence, persuade and motivate on service developments and best practice as subject matter expert
* Ability to analyse, diagnose, design, plan, evaluate and implement service and project deliverables
* Excellent leadership skills, and good team player
* Experience of leading and managing a team of experts
* Experience of implementing inter-connected projects
