Your Impact We seek a Data Scientist with a strong background in biological assays for drug discovery, focused on high-quality experimental data analysis and curation to support drug discovery projects. As part of the data team, you will build large-scale data assets to empower groundbreaking AI/ML technology, collaborating with drug discovery teams to ensure the quality of pharmacological data throughout design cycles. What You Will Do Support drug design cycles, ensuring biological and pharmacological data is captured and available. Ensure high standards of scientific data quality and representation in internal databases through statistical analysis of biological assay data. Develop workflows for data capture, analysis, and visualization to address scientific decision-making bottlenecks. Collaborate with teams to develop data exchange standards and implement user-friendly ELNs to maintain data integrity. Contribute to building a diverse and high-quality data asset for next-generation drug discovery ML models. Communicate your work and promote data quality improvement opportunities. Skills and Qualifications Essential: BSc, MSc, or PhD in a relevant biology field. Knowledge of in-vitro, biophysical, and cellular assay techniques. Experience in statistical data analysis from diverse assay types. Strong coding skills in Python and experience with data science toolkits and SQL. Familiarity with ontologies, data management frameworks, and high-quality scientific standards. Experience with ELN systems and third-party data exchange standards. Strong communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams. Attention to detail for identifying data anomalies. Nice to Have: Experience with third-party data analysis and visualization software. Familiarity with data pipelining tools. Experience in the pharma/biotech industry with high-quality biological data. Knowledge of data engineering concepts and cloud-based infrastructure.
