Finance Systems Development Manager
Salary: up to £80,000 depending on experience
The Renishaw Group is undertaking a major global digital transformation programme to replace our existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with Microsoft Dynamics D365. To deliver this and future transformation programmes we are creating a new Finance Systems Manager position based at our UK headquarters which will suit someone with strong accounting, finance systems and change delivery skill and experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a small, focused team in Group Finance, interacting with a wide range of finance and non-finance teams across the Group. Success in this role is likely to facilitate multiple future career progression options.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and rollout Microsoft Dynamics D365 throughout all Renishaw companies. We have already deployed D365 in our first subsidiary, the second is in progress and the programme will then accelerate as we deploy the system in over 30 Renishaw Group companies around the world.
* Manage a portfolio of implementations ensuring there is clarity on roles, responsibilities and the project plan, working with a variety of teams to meet deadlines and report on risks, issues and progress.
* Define and embed a process with finance system implementation leads in each region (Europe, Asia and Americas) to capture system requirements needed to comply with local legal and fiscal rules, undertake user acceptance testing and train and support local subsidiary finance teams.
* Work with the Group IT system development team to translate finance requirements into system requirements, develop system functionality and set the finance and tax configuration.
* Ensure appropriate training and support material is developed and made available to users.
* Provide post-implementation support whilst the new system is being established.
* Evaluate the software throughout the project lifecycle and contribute to longer term development plans.
* For more established implementations, be part of a “tier 2” support team (with tier 1 being in the overseas regions) dealing with day-to-day fault handling, development upgrades etc.
The successful candidate will support and develop various other company systems and take the lead on future projects and change initiatives.
Occasional international travel is likely (up to 2-3 times a year) to support major subsidiary implementations of Microsoft Dynamics D365.
Our systems are used globally and therefore some flexibility on working hours will be needed to support overseas implementations and unforeseen events.

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven problem solving and analytical ability.
* Keen attention to detail with a desire to clearly document and track plans, actions and processes.
* Good knowledge of ERP systems technology, adept with Microsoft Office, with strong excel skills.
