The STEM Faculty is a thriving, dynamic department, committed to providing an innovative and forward-thinking approach to science education. With a strong focus on the professional development of all staff members, we offer a collaborative environment where teachers can grow and thrive.
Our Science Department is equipped with five newly renovated laboratories, completed over the summer of 2023. These state-of-the-art facilities enhance our ability to deliver hands-on, engaging science lessons and foster an environment of discovery and experimentation. As part of this exciting development, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to teach Biology across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The ability to teach Chemistry and Physics is desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons that result in excellent pupil outcomes and will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional learning experiences for our students. Staff are expected to be committed to raising standards for all pupils, staying informed of emerging trends in education, and proactively responding to the evolving needs of the science curriculum.
The successful applicant will report to the STEM Faculty Lead and will contribute to the continued growth and success of the department, utilising the new facilities to inspire students and promote a passion for science.
