An excellent opportunity is available for a Construction Planner to join a growing main civil engineering contractor. The role will have key involvement operating across a range of projects, based from their offices in the Leeds area.
The role will have responsibility and involvement in the day-to-day management of live/on-site project programmes, as well as developing projects at the pre-construction stage.
This position will suit those who have already established themselves in a planning role within either a civils or build construction environment, and are now looking for the next step in their career development to gain more autonomy in their role.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Progress monitoring, analysis and reporting against established project baselines.
2. Development of information release programmes and schedules.
3. Short-term construction planning including liaison with supply chain/design team as appropriate.
4. Progress monitoring & review.
5. Recognise “Early Warnings” for potential delay and assist in mitigation strategies.
6. Involvement in pre-construction and pre-tender planning duties/responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Be qualified to Degree or HNC in Construction.
2. Have exposure/track record to operating in a project planning role within a construction related environment.
3. Be comfortable communicating at all levels, with the ability to work independently during site visits & reporting.
4. Have a strong work ethic and be open to further development and training as required.
5. Hold a full UK driving licence as there will be some site visits.
6. Hold strong IT skills.
