Capital Projects – Project Manager - Electrical and Instrument (E&I) Starting salary from £48,065 Up to 10% bonus Company car or cash allowance £6,500 Permanent contract Located in either Sunderland or Leeds We have an exciting opportunity for a Capital Projects – Project Manager E&I. Within this role you will ensure that projects are delivered to meet business requirements in line with relevant legislation and NGN processes. You will ensure consistent, safe, timely, effective and efficient delivery of projects supporting NGNs business objectives. These projects may cover a number of engineering disciplines, so transferrable skills are key to succeeding in the role. Key accountabilities and responsibilities • Deliver packages of multi-disciplinary work with E&I focus of varying scope, size and value • Through working within the wider Team, the Project Manager will be responsible for, generating Scopes of Work, Tendering Projects, Managing Designs and associated queries, Procuring Long Lead Materials, managing delivery against Programme and Budget, coordinating Commissioning and management of Databook Records • Provide accurate programme and cost updates to colleagues to allow for the accurate forecasting of resources across the wider business • Ensure all Stakeholders (internal and external) are kept well informed on any scheme progress and updates as and when required • Perform Site Assurance duties ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and procedures What we are looking for in our Capital Projects – Project Manager E&I • Knowledge of regulations applicable to the construction industry • Experience of E&I project delivery • Demonstrate financial management and commercial acumen • Must be capable of using MS Office software • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of Programme Management, preferably able to use planning software tools to create and or update programmes • Qualification in further education such as HND or Degree in an engineering or construction specific discipline would be advantageous • Experience of working with Safe Systems of Work including experience of issuing or receiving permits What we Offer You • Starting salary from £48,065 to £58,458 (dependent on experience) • Up to 10% bonus (dependent upon achievement of set targets) • Company car or cash allowance £6,500 • 40 hours per week • 25 days annual leave (plus recognised bank holidays and 2 half days over the Christmas period) • SSP for first 2 calendar days then occupational sick pay • A generous stakeholder 5/10 pension scheme • Free car parking on site • Flexible benefits and salary sacrifice options from discounts on a variety of UK attractions, gym membership, restaurant discounts, experience daysand exclusive NGN discounts and much more • An array of fantastic family- friendly policies such as 6 weeks’ paternity leave (for eligible employees) and 6 months’ full pay for employees on maternity leave (for eligible employees), as well as shared parental leave and many more.
