IKEA Bristol are looking to welcome a Sales department manager, which in IKEA world we call it Shopkeeper.

1. The Start Date of employment will be: December 2024 / January 2025
2. The starting salary for this role is £32,180 per annum, based on competence and experience.
3. 39 Hours working 5 days per week include weekends per month.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
1. A passion for home furnishings and experience in active selling, understanding customers and their needs.
2. Experience of leading in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise and organise your own and others workload.
3. Business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus, ability to make quick decisions and take personal initiatives, open to change and highly flexible.
4. Leading others, you will have good communication skills that can help to build relationships with co-workers and customers.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
1. Take responsibility for your department goals and secure that your action plan ensures the country priorities for your department are implemented in your store, you follow up and take action accordingly by using proven solutions and good examples.
2. You act quickly on commercial opportunities and take full responsibility for ensuring your shop is in excellent shape, clean, tidy, priced and full.
3. You develop a successful team ensuring they all have the correct knowledge of the range and IKEA services, so that they can share this with our customers to provide an excellent shopping experience.
4. With people at the heart of what you do, you will work with succession to identify talent, whilst ensuring you have the right number of competent co-workers in the right place at the right time.
