You will join our amazing Community Service team in Llandrindod Wells, Welshpool, Powys. The service provides valuable support for individuals with sensory loss to live the life they want and experience the world.
This is a 9 month fixed-term role with potential to increase due to local government funding which the service has secured successfully for the past 8 years .
We have part time hours available to suit up to 20 hours per week. The service operates Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm and occasionally out of hours support may also be required.
We are offering an hourly rate from £11.75 with enhanced rates for overtime and annual pay reviews/ rises.
There is a lot of travel involved for this role so you will need a Full UK Driving license and your own car and be willing to travel around Powys, Mid Wales. We pay 45p per mile after 25 miles of travel.
There is also opportunity to complete some elements of the role remotely and can be discussed at interview.
You will provide a customised, responsive and high-quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
