We are seeking to recruit a dedicated, highly motivated, and enthusiastic Charge Nurse who has an interest in Specialist Dementia care. This position will provide the successful candidate opportunities to up skill in leadership and management at ward level and allow autonomy as clinical lead to assist the Senior Charge Nurse drive forwards innovative/collaborative working, and deliver an excellent care service to people who have significant cognitive decline whilst providing transitional care towards discharge. You will be responsible for providing assurance to the SCN that care needs are being met as well as clinical audit and staff development/ training. You must be motivated by the challenges of this environment and willing to contribute to the evolving provision and development of services. The successful candidate must also possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to demonstrate clinical and professional competency working within a multi-disciplinary team. You must have a good knowledge of current legislation and drivers for delivering mental health care. You will receive a comprehensive induction package and supportive educational development.
