About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Registered Care Home Manager to lead a nursing and residential care home, providing high-quality care for elderly residents, including those with dementia. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a home under new ownership, with full support from the directors to drive improvements and growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with CQC regulations.
Lead and support a multidisciplinary team, including the Deputy Manager, Unit Manager, Nurses, and Care Assistants.
Manage budgets, financial planning, and report on business performance to the directors.
Increase occupancy through effective marketing, assessments, and community engagement.
Maintain and improve the home's CQC rating, ensuring excellence across all areas.
Develop and implement staff training, performance management, and scheduling.
Foster a positive, professional working environment that supports staff development and well-being.
RequirementsNMC-registered nurse (Adult or Mental Health).
Minimum two years of experience as a Registered Manager in an elderly nursing care home
Proven track record of maintaining high standards and achieving at least a Good CQC rating.
NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage, inspire, and develop a diverse care team.
