Supervising Social Worker - Foster Careline
Start a rewarding career with Foster Careline. We are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join our team. Foster Careline is part of the Five Rivers Child Care Group, a Social Enterprise committed to transforming the lives of children and young people through reinvesting their surplus in children’s futures.
We are seeking to appoint a Supervising Social Worker to provide support to our Foster Carers throughout the Northwest. Reporting into the office rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, your role will be one of importance to carers and children.
Our Supervising Social Worker’s days are varied and interesting. You will be able to follow a flexible structure whilst supporting our foster carers, holding realistic caseloads, and providing a high level of supervision, monitoring, and intervention.
You will be working within a Trauma-informed practice model, supporting and following therapeutic practices.
You will have the opportunity to complete Form F Assessments, participate in our Children & Young People’s participation and strategy events, and support our foster carers on a rota basis in our out-of-hours service.

You will have access to formal CHARMS training as well as peer and group clinical supervision provided by a qualified psychologist. Our Team at Foster Careline
We are a team of 12, and our team is growing. We have a dedicated and professional team with years of expertise working with CIC and Local Authorities. We offer fostering services over a vast geographical area within the North West Region.
Hours
Our full-time hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm and Fridays 9am – 4:30pm.

Requirements
• Good written and IT skills.
• Able to communicate with children, colleagues, and external customers.
• Able to actively listen to others.
• Formal Social Work Qualification
• Valid Driving Licence
• Have the Right to Work in the UK
