Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing and Admissions Manager at one of Northampton’s leading independent schools for girls. This is an exciting new role, reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, directly leading all marketing, communications and admissions across the whole school (nursery to sixth form) and managing a small team.
You will have responsibility for developing and implementing the school marketing plan, with the aim of bringing the school’s vision to life and driving pupil numbers through external recruitment and positive retention. You will use local market knowledge, creativity and a data-driven approach to oversee all advertising and marketing materials, ensuring the consistent presentation of the Northampton High GDST brand across a range of channels to support the development of the School’s profile and drive recruitment.
You will have experience of leading a team, managing performance, and driving a high quality customer experience within a premium brand and/or affluent market. You will also have proven experience of managing processes and delivering accuracy, and evidence of managing high value supplier contracts to deliver quantifiable outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, a self-motivation to drive improvement of long-term results through a range of different strategies, and the understanding of the wider benefits of girls-only, single sex education. An educational background is not essential, but a commercial eye for seeking out longer-term success is key.
This is a full-time, full year role, with core working patterns in-school Monday-Friday. Annual leave is not restricted to school holidays, but in line with operational requirements of the school and departments. Whilst the majority of the work is in-school, and we are not able to offer a formal opportunity for hybrid working in this role, there are occasions where there are opportunities to work flexibly around the needs of the role, and we would welcome open conversations from individuals who are interested. There will be a requirement to attend and represent the School at events and Open Days, which will require some evening and weekend working hours.
Benefits:
* Competitive salaries and pay progression
* Generous pension scheme with up to 12% employer contributions
* Free life assurance benefit
* A discount of up to 50% on fees for pupils at GDST schools
* An Employee Assistance Programme offering free 24 hour confidential counselling, wellbeing support and advice services
* In-school staff wellbeing activities such as yoga, fitness classes, wellbeing walks
* Access to extensive professional development opportunities
* Good transport links
* Training grants for qualifications
* Free lunches for all staff during term time (equivalent to at least £900 per year)
* Interest free loans for training, computer purchase loans and travel season ticket loans
* A Cycle to Work scheme
* Competitive terms and conditions of employment
