Job Title: Learning and Development (L&D) Manager

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a proactive and innovative thinker with a passion for learning and development. They possess strong analytical skills and are adept at identifying training needs and designing effective solutions. A commitment to continuous improvement and a collaborative approach are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, design, and implement learning strategies and programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
2. Performance Management: Create strategies to enhance employee performance, including goal setting, feedback provision, and performance reviews.
3. Leadership Development: Focus on cultivating leadership skills among employees to prepare them for future leadership roles.
4. Assess training development needs: Identify and analyze skill gaps within the workforce to determine training requirements.
5. Apprentice Recruitment: Support the Group HR Director with the implementation of the L&D and Talent Management framework, attracting and onboarding high-quality candidates, including young talent through apprenticeships.
6. Career Pathing: Create and implement talent reviews, career pathways, and role skills mapping to support succession planning across the Group.
7. Track and measure learning effectiveness: Ensure training programs meet desired outcomes and contribute to organizational goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Learning and Development, or a related field.
* Proven skills in talent management, employee development, and performance management.
* Experience in digital content creation, designing, and delivering training programs at all levels, including senior management.
* Strong understanding of training methodologies and best practices, with an eye for detail through effective controls and governance.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and report data, utilizing metrics to drive decision-making.
* Proficiency in using Learning Development Systems and other relevant software and tools.
