What skills and experience we're looking for
Sidmouth College has 2 vacancies for talented and ambitious Teachers of Mathematics on a temporary basis to cover Maternity Leave.
One post is to start in February 2025 and is expected to be for approximately 5 months.
The second post is to start on 2nd June 2025. This is for a 12 month duration.
The successful applicants will possess the ability to enthuse and inspire students and staff by sharing their passion for Mathematics.
You will be working in an experienced and busy department of seven staff: five full time and two part time. The team includes the Head of Maths, Deputy of Maths and Sparx Coordinator.
Excellent curriculum knowledge is essential, and the successful candidate will be expected to teach Mathematics at KS3, KS4 and, if possible, KS5.
The post would suit an NQT or experienced teacher of Mathematics looking for a different setting with new challenges and opportunities.
