Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Implement behaviour management strategies as required to promote client well-being.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.
Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a similar position will be an advantage but not essential.
A background in nursing or relevant qualifications in health and social care will be advantageous.
Familiarity with first aid practices is desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
