This post sits in the Operations Team and is based at UHNM, Royal Stoke Hospital site, reporting to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager.
The Role supports the receipting of deliveries, picking of consumables, distribution of goods to Wards and Departments, and putting away of stock at ward level.
Main duties of the job
1. Receipting, tracking, and recording of deliveries and producing electronic goods receipt notes.
2. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure records are filed in accordance with standard operating procedures.
3. Picking of locally stocked products and packing safely and securely within delivery cages.
4. Putting away of stocked products utilizing safe manual handling techniques and equipment.
5. Preparing and organizing stock for distribution to Wards and Departments.
6. The putting away of various products within a clinical ward area and within the Supplies & Procurement Warehouse.
