You will form part of Clinical Health Psychology Services Department, working alongside multi-disciplinary colleagues in physical health services to provide direct therapeutic input for patients. As a core component of the team you will provide evidence-based psychological assessment, formulation and intervention to clients referred into the service. You will help to integrate psychological mindedness to the wider MDT through consultation, supervision, joint working, and training. You will also get the opportunity to undertake research relevant to the service. The service works across both Sunderland and South Tyneside and so you may work from two bases as part of your role. The post will work between the Maternal Mental Health Service and Bariatric Psychology Service. Part time and flexible working is available.
