A North Yorkshire-based, private equity-backed manufacturing group has experienced significant growth through numerous acquisitions over the past two years — with more on the horizon! As the group continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced and strategic financial leader to drive both short-term and long-term business goals, strengthening market position and delivering on ambitious growth plans.
This is a critical leadership role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and can bring clarity, structure, and stability to a fast-evolving organisation. The successful candidate will be impactive from the outset, driving rapid improvement and ensuring financial cohesion across the group.
We are looking for someone who can:
1. Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with growth ambitions, streamlining processes and ensuring robust, transparent, and precise financial reporting to support business performance.
2. Provide expertise throughout future M&A processes, guiding due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
3. Install clarity and stability during periods of change and uncertainty, driving conformity and coalescence across the group.
4. Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to align financial insights with strategic decision-making.
Minimum Requirements:
* Proven track record as a CFO or senior financial leader, ideally within manufacturing or private equity-backed businesses.
* Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration.
* Expertise in implementing financial structures that deliver clarity and precision.
* A hands-on, results-driven approach with the ability to lead rapid change and improvement.
* Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing and aligning diverse teams.
