We are recruiting a Quality and Compliance Lead to join our Building team based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. This is a project-based role, responsible for managing and driving project quality control and management, undertaking quality inductions, ensuring Right First Time, leading handback and the cultural mindset to achieve this.
What you'll do:
* Ensuring Compliance of the project with the Skanska Management systems.
* Ensure the Project is compliant with the works information and other relevant defence sector requirements.
* As the Project Quality Lead, establish a Project Quality Team for the project from across all disciplines and ensure regular liaison with the Operating Unit lead.
* Act as the primary project focus point for internal and external audits.
* Manage and undertake supply chain audits.
* Ensuring that significant defects and non-conformances are investigated to root cause and that the findings communicated to the appropriate parties and acted upon, ensuring information is fed to the business reporting mechanisms.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Experience of leading a quality and handover team.
* Experience of defence (or similar high assurance requirement) construction.
* Previous experience in quality & compliance management at the required level.
* Ability to translate strategy into specific objectives and actions plans.
* Leadership experience by assigning clear accountabilities and authority.
* Demonstrates a risk management mindset.
Security Clearance
This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. You should be aware that certain levels of clearance or specific projects and/or sites have UK residency requirements; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role.
