Job overview
Based in a busy office environment, this is an opportunity to work with our clinic prep team to deliver a high quality service to patients and consultants. The ability to multi-task is essential.
Our ideal person will possess computer and typing skills and must have a good standard of literacy and be numerate. You must be enthusiastic and self-motivated to achieve our deadlines. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role with an ability to work in a calm methodical working manner.
Main duties of the job
The main duties include locating and providing patient records required for outpatient clinics. The records will need to be checked and tidied up before being presented to the medical staff. You will be using the main hospital computer system (CaMIS) to locate and update destination information for the records as well as producing documentation required for each patient attendance.

Person specification
Knowledge
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Understanding of clerical processes
* Efficient and accurate word processing skills
Qualifications
* GCSE in Maths and English or Functional Skills (level 2) (or equivalent experience)
* NVQ 2 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Experience
* Knowledge of Office and Outlook, including word, excel and powerpoint, e-mail and internet
