Within our newly expanded state-of-the-art workshop facilities as HGV Trailer Fabricator/Welder, you will be integral to the continued success of the After Sales Service Department. You will proactively deliver high quality body shop projects ensuring our customer experience requirements are of the highest standard.

Your day-to-day duties as our HGV Trailer Fabricator/Welder
Key Activities :
Repair and refurbish HGV and trailer body work, to include panels, bumpers and structural components
Carry out welding activities and fabrication tasks using the correct technicians and health and safety practices.
Diagnose damage and address corrective repairs caused by wear and tear, corrosion or accidents.
Prepare, and carry out bodywork paint refreshes and finishes to a high-quality standard.
Install and repair tail lifts of damaged vehicles
Carry out the fitment of curtains to curtain sided vehicles and trailers
Dismantle vehicles in readiness for repairs and re- install insuring compliance with the health and safety regulations
Collaborate with your colleagues to ensure the smooth and safe running of the workshop and customer requirements are completed to specification and deadline
What you will need:
Passion about our customers satisfaction and their trust in our brand
Proven experience as a body shop technician HGV and trailer experience is advantageous
Strong knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques
Familiarity with paint preparation and spraying processes
Ability to adapt to unexpected situations and demonstrate proactive problem solving
