HR Business Partner
Job purpose
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to management and employees, delivering HR expertise to support the business' goals. The role focuses on fostering a positive employee experience, ensuring compliance with UK employment laws, and driving organizational performance. A key element of this position is the ability to effectively manage employee relation issues, particularly within the framework of UK employment law.
Key responsibilities
1. Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives
2. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision making
3. Act as a trusted advisor to management on all HR related matters
4. Manage complex employee relation issues, including disciplinary, grievance processes, ensuring compliance with UK employment law
5. Conduct thorough investigations and provide expert guidance to resolve workplace conflicts
6. Develop, implement and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards and best practices
7. Provide training to managers on employment law
8. Support workforce planning, including succession planning and talent acquisition strategies
9. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
10. Assist in implementing organizational changes, including restructures
11. Track and analyse key HR metrics to identify trends and recommend interventions
12. Design, lead, execute recruitment campaigns
13. Support wellbeing campaigns
14. Lead HR projects
What we're looking for
1. CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification
2. Proven experience as an HRBP or similar role, with significant focus on employee relations
3. Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday HRIS
4. Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practices
5. Ability to communicate at all levels
6. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
7. Strategic thinker, ability to align HR practices with business goals
8. Team player
9. Excellent attention to detail
10. Self-motivated
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability, time management and resilience under pressure.
