Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:
1. Carrying out electrical safety checks, PAT testing, planned and reactive maintenance and repairs, and undertaking some installation works.
2. Working to high levels of health and safety.
3. Understanding and working to building statutory requirements.
4. Ensuring regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme.
5. Being IT literate for record keeping and having good customer service skills.
6. Being physically able to carry out the full duties detailed in the job description.
To be successful for this Electrical Engineer role you must have:
1. A background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector, or similar.
2. Qualifications of either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 18th edition; ideally, you will have test and inspect 2391.
3. The ability to work in controlled areas of site in C2 and C3 conditions.
4. A full, current driving licence.
