Job Title: Locum Audiologist Banding : Band 6 Location : Hornchurch Start Date : ASAP Duration : Initially 3 months Working Hours: Full-time Rate : £25:00 - £28:00 per hour Job Description: We are seeking multiple Band 6 and Band 7 Locum Podiatrists to join our team for various roles focused on wound care clinics and home visits. These positions are essential for providing high-quality podiatric care, including diabetic assessments and ongoing patient management. What your responsibilities will be for this Audiology role? As a Band 6/7 Locum Audiologist You will conduct hearing tests for children aged over three, ensuring accurate assessments and timely interventions. You will fit hearing aids for older children, providing necessary adjustments and support to optimize their hearing experience. You will work closely with families to educate them about hearing loss and the use of hearing aids. You will maintain detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with NHS standards. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for paediatric patients with hearing impairments. You will participate in team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives as required. Qualifications and Experiences: Must be a registered Audiologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Significant experience in paediatric audiology is essential. Previous NHS experience is highly preferable. Strong clinical skills in performing hearing assessments and fitting hearing aids. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children and their families. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Why work with Pulse?
