A hugely rewarding opportunity for a Support Worker who has experience working with clients with Autism or Aspergers and complex social needs to join a Local Charity Organisation based in Bath.
* Contract: This is a full-time, permanent role.
* Salary of £24,500 per annum (an extra £100 per week when on-call)
* Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5 (working 1 in 4 weeks on-call)

The Supported Housing Worker role:
* To assess and support clients to develop independent living skills that will enable them to move from low-level support to independent living.
* Facilitate access to services that meet client health, social, educational, and employment requirements, taking account of client aspirations and needs.
* Ensure clients are accessing and managing the benefits that they are entitled to.
* Helath and Wellbeing focus
Key duties include:
* Build positive and effective working relationships and agreements with relevant external agencies.
* Support Clients to engage in consultation events both within the organisation and in the wider community.
* Ensure that organisational administrative systems, including Petty Cash and rent/service charge collection are accurately maintained and updated.
* Work in accordance with the organisation’s Equal Opportunities Policy and with all its other policies.
The Successful Supported Housing Worker Applicant:
* Experience working with young adults with complex needs / Autism or Aspergers
* Ability to undertake assessment and planning for people with complex social needs.
* Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with empathy and understanding of the needs of clients with complex needs.
