Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our parts department by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate inventory records. The Parts Advisor will be responsible for assisting customers in identifying and obtaining the correct parts for their needs, while also supporting the overall organisation of the parts inventory.
Duties
1. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their parts requirements and provide accurate recommendations.
2. Maintain an organised inventory system, ensuring all parts are correctly labelled and stored for easy access.
3. Utilise Excel to track inventory levels, orders, and deliveries, ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
4. Provide excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries and processing orders.
5. Assist in the management of incoming shipments, verifying that all parts received match the order specifications.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
7. Stay informed about new products and industry trends to better assist customers and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in a similar role or within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain an orderly workspace and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with other software systems is advantageous.
5. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
6. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new processes and systems.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year (DOE)
