PPA Cover Teacher Responsibilities Provide high-quality cover for PPA sessions across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring continuity in students’ learning. Deliver engaging, creative lessons that follow the National Curriculum and maintain the positive ethos of the school. Ensure a consistent classroom environment, managing student behavior effectively and fostering a love of learning. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their development and assist with planning future lessons. Work collaboratively with other teachers to ensure cohesive planning and teaching across the school. Keep parents and guardians updated on student progress, addressing any concerns as needed. Contribute to the school’s wider activities and school events as appropriate. PPA Cover Teacher Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in primary schools, with the ability to adapt to different year groups and subjects. Excellent classroom management skills and an ability to engage children in varied learning activities. Strong communication skills and a commitment to building positive relationships with staff, students, and parents. Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects and year groups. Passion for teaching and commitment to student achievement and development.
