Your new companyI have recently partnered with a humanity-focused travel insurance company to recruit a stand-alone Business Development Manager for the company. The company brings people and the world together. They believe that for far too long, travel insurance has focused on the company, not the customer, and they are trying to change that by connecting travellers to customised insurance solutions that deliver the most appropriate insurance at the right price. Your new roleSpecifically, they are looking for a motivated Sales Director who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive head-first into the following:
* Network, find and establish new and unique relationships with tech-forward distribution partners, including travel management companies, travelSuppliers, travel-tech, insurtech and fintech companies
* Build a focused pipeline, set goals and aggressively work to achieve targets
* Work with multiple teams (including underwriting, engineering, product, marketing and operations) toward a common goal to ensure partner success
* Travel as needed, speak up, make suggestions, and produce
