LOCATION: Bridgwater
HOURLY RATE: up to £13.05 per hour
HOURS: Monday - Friday, maximum 37 hours per week (can accommodate part-time hours)

THE ROLE: We are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient individual to join a friendly and welcoming team, who are very passionate about providing the best support to their students. This is a varied role supporting the Assistant Head with a variety of administration duties therefore you must possess strong organisational skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is initially a temporary role to start in January 2025 till July 2025; however, this role has the potential to become permanent.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Answering calls and taking messages
2. Initially involve producing letters
3. Uploading data to the school's internal system
4. Liaising with students/parents/external agencies/Senior Leaders/Teaching and other staff
5. Distributing post to correct staff members
6. Booking meetings and diary management
7. Filing, scanning, and archiving
The successful candidate must have prior administration experience, ideally within an educational setting as you will be required to have an understanding of the importance of safeguarding. You will need to be computer literate along with having a confident and polite telephone manner, high attention to detail and strong communication skills.

An enhanced DBS will be required prior to commencing employment. If you have a recent DBS or are subscribed to the update service this would be desirable; however, a full DBS check can be completed prior to the role commencing.
