Join Kuehne+Nagel as an IS Service & Contract Manager to oversee and develop key vendor relationships, ensuring reliable IT services and operational performance for our Contract Logistics business.
YOUR ROLE
The role of the IS Service & Contract Manager is to ensure that all aspects of relationships with, & services provided by IS & IT vendors whose products and services underpin Kuehne+Nagel business operations, are effectively managed and monitored and developed, in order to protect operational service performance and maintain committed delivery standards. You will engage and work with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and service providers to build, implement, manage and develop services and relationships to facilitate successful and reliable IS & IT facilities, services, processes and communications to underpin successful performance of Kuehne+Nagel Contract Logistics business operations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
This role offers a flexible working arrangement, ideally you would be located near to Milton Keynes, but this isn't essential as the role will provide you with the ability to work on a hybrid basis from your own home or any of our site locations.
* The IS Service & contract manager will be responsible for regular formal reviews of service performance, new delivery and change performance along with any future planning
* Responsible for contract renewals, amendments and assisting with contract negotiations
* Measurement of service providers, the financials and overall relationship management
* Oversee the performance and responsiveness of IS & IT vendors and service providers
* Creation and maintenance of schedules
* Undertake regular reviews of service performance along with future planning activities
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
* Proven experience of working in a Project Management capacity
* Demonstrable experience of leading Projects
* PRINCE2 and/or APM practitioner desired
* Practical experience of Project delivery within an ITIL-lead environment
* Capable of defining, explaining and maintaining a high-level, longer-term view of projects' relationships with strategy and other initiatives
* Ability to determine resource requirements in line with the plan
* Sufficient industry expertise to understand and plan for project inter-dependencies
