Our client, a well-established company in the Watton Area, is currently expanding their Project department. We are looking for someone with previous experience in project management who is keen for a new challenge.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Overall responsibility for managing and delivering assigned manufacturing contracts of engineered products
2. Ensuring project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met
3. Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, and Production
4. Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure smooth execution
5. Monitoring and reporting project progress to stakeholders, both internal and external
6. Managing client expectations and maintaining strong customer relationships
7. Handling project-related change management, documentation, and compliance with industry standards
8. Ensuring quality control, inspection, and certification management are properly implemented
9. Working closely with sub-vendors, Engineers, Project Buyers, and Shop Floor Supervisors to resolve technical and commercial issues
10. Attending on/off-site client meetings as required
Required Qualifications:
1. Previous experience within a similar role
2. Expertise in project management of the whole life cycle of projects from order to final delivery
3. Strong organizational and leadership skills
Comfortable with the following tasks:
1. Project plan creation, maintenance, and management (project milestones, critical path identification, and ownership)
2. Clarification, Change, Risk, and Documentation management
3. Project procurement management/involvement
4. Reporting on a regular basis to internal and external stakeholders
5. Cost control and management
6. Inspection and certification management
7. With the assistance of the Engineering team, ensuring that all designs meet the project requirements
