Academics, Canterbury are working closely with a very well respected secondary school in Canterbury who are seeking a dedicated and passionate Business Studies teacher to join them in January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional or a newly qualified teacher looking to contribute to the education of young minds and inspire a passion for business.
Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality and engaging Business Studies lessons to students at various levels across KS4 and A-level
Planning and preparing lesson materials, including assessments and assignments
Implementing effective teaching strategies and utilising modern educational resources and technology
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and student growth
Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback, and identifying areas for improvement
Collaborating with colleagues to support the overall development of the Business Studies curriculumRequirements:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
A degree in Business Studies or a related field
Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies
Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students to achieve their best
Effective communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to professional development and staying up to date with educational trends and practicesAbout the School:
