Urban Designer - London
Application Deadline: 6 January 2025
Department: Urban Studio
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: London, UK
Reporting To: Blazej Cuba
Description
Our Urban Studio team are deep thinkers, curious investigators, and dedicated problem solvers. We work closely with our clients and communities to understand the lay of the land, and weave in conversations with government bodies, and think tanks to design and help shape positive places for all.
We believe that simple, functional, and beautiful places have the power to instil belonging, build connection, and shape the human experience. This is something that excites us. We are now looking to enhance our team in London by one, and would be keen to meet Urban Designers that are aligned with our work and ethos.
As a guide, you can expect to be working on regeneration frameworks and town centre masterplans on a strategic level and at planning application stage. You will have between 3 - 5 years of experience working on UK projects, and an Urban Design qualification or RIBA Part III.
About you
This role would be suited to someone with experience of delivering projects of similar scale and complexity to those that we do, will have some experience of leading a small team, coordinating the work of others, and drawing together the external team. You will be a team player and excellent communicator. You are able to share design ideas and thoughts concisely and confidently, demonstrating graphical eloquence when producing documents.
