Job Responsibilities
This role will be based initially at Burwash in East Sussex. You will then be required to support at our other locations from time to time within the region: Uckfield, Shoreham on Sea, Henfield, and Wadhurst. Mileage will be paid from your base home.

You'll inspire a multidisciplinary team to ensure every resident enjoys the best possible quality of life. This includes leading by example, monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will set the highest standards and draw on your skills to develop and deliver strategies that will help you achieve your goals.
About You
To join us as a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical), you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. Previous experience of working within a nursing home setting is essential, and evidence of continual professional development is required. Experience in helping residents with different health needs is important, as is a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments. HR experience, strong knowledge of sales and marketing, understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship are also desired. You should be compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment. Finally, due to the nature of this role, you must be flexible and willing to travel.
