Your role and responsibilities
This role will see you working within the Contact and Assessment Team to run the Warm Handover Referral Scheme (WHRS). This is a partner-to-partner referral scheme designed to connect clients with organisations that can better meet their needs, with your role focused on ensuring this service runs smoothly for the partners signed up to it, and the community it serves.
On a day-to-day basis you will be the first point of contact for partner organisations' requests and queries, be in charge of the tracking and onboarding of new partners and ensuring all processes and forms are as up to date as possible. Part of your role will also involve liaising with the Suffolk Information Partnership (SIP), a network of 150 organisations representing the VCFSE and statutory sector in Suffolk, which organisations need to be a member of to benefit from the Warm Handover service.
Your role within the Customer First Service will also involve supporting the Team Manager in the effective operation and delivery of excellent customer service in the Contact Centre, and to be personally accountable for specific identified targets within the broader remit of the team. This will involve managing risk, demand and resources on a daily basis in order to support vulnerable adults, children and young people accessing the service.
You will need

* To collaborate well with others and be flexible in your approach to meet the demands of the post and team.

Customer First is a multi-channel, 24-hour contact centre who act as the first point of contact for Social Care in Suffolk. We operate across Adult and Community Services, Children and Young People Services and Mental Health.
We work as a team to support one another, and work together to ensure a high standard of service is achieved. We have a variety of individuals within the team at differing stages in their careers and we can support career development opportunities.
