Dot Net Developer - Stoke
Our Client is looking for a Lead Application Developer.
You will have at least 3 to 5 years proven track record of developing applications with Microsoft Dot Net technology.
The candidate will also be expected to mentor any new developers to help evolve their skills.
You will be involved in developing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for a niche sector.
Clients will add their business requirements such as Membership Management, Event Management, Product/Publication Sales, etc.
In addition, they may request modifications and enhancements to meet their explicit requirements.
The contact information is held within the core CRM element of the Dot Net solution; all of the add-on modules have basic Sales Ledger features (i.e. invoicing, payments, refunds, rejections, and credits).
Any skill sets you have whereby you are able to interrogate, analyze, and report upon demographic & related financial data will be an advantage.
The main application server is built to OOP principles using VB.Net, ASP.Net with backend database development using SQL Server. Integrated modules are built using similar technologies as well as web technologies such as MVC, C#, Angular, HTML/CSS, and Ajax.
Understand how our customers use the Dot Net Application suite and then using this understanding, develop new features and/or enhance and maintain current features.
Assist with implementations, upgrades, and resolving challenging support issues which require experienced developer review.
Occasionally assist with Helpdesk related issues, responding to Customer tickets that require your level of expertise and have been scheduled for you.
Demonstrable experience working in a development team with OO structured processes is required.
Must have the following skills:
1. VB.Net, ASP.Net Web Forms
2. Current JavaScript frameworks
3. ORM Modelling, Oracle, MySQL
4. Any commercial use of source control systems
5. C# considered as long as you are happy to work mainly in Visual Basic
6. WCF, WebApi
Location: Staffordshire
Salary: £35,000.00 - £40,000.00
Ideally with a degree in IT.
