Senior Conflicts Analyst - City of London - Law Firm Our client is an international law firm with an outstanding reputation for excellence, headquartered in the City of London and offices across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.It is currently experiencing growth on a global scale and the infrastructure is growing to support it. We have an exciting opportunity for a senior conflicts analyst to join the compliance and risk team.This is a newly created role due to growth of the team. The current legal team compromises 11 individuals who take care of SRA regulatory matters, financial crime compliance, data privacy, supplier contracts, insurance, complaints and investigations and conflicts of interest. Within the compliance & risk department there is also a large team of managers and analysts taking care of new business intake. The firm is currently implementing a new business intake system, including new software, to streamline the process. This role will work closely with other senior members of the team to implement the new procedure and provide training and guidance to stakeholders and junior staff. The position will also require the postholder to advise on complex conflicts and liaise with senior staff to ensure commercial resolutions. The role will entail complex and sometimes highly sensitive conflict issues, and we are seeking a robust but diplomatic advisor to navigate the landscape. You must have previous experience of working in a law firm environment and be able to demonstrate at least 4 years of conflicts knowledge. It would also be highly advantageous if you have previously worked on the Intapp conflicts IT system. You must be comfortable working with the General Counsel, as well as other senior stakeholders in the firm. We are looking for an individual who is resilient, collegiate, has the ability to explain and reason and possesses a can-do approach. The successful individual has the chance to take on a key role in growing the conflicts team and possibly moving into a full managerial role in the future as the team takes on a new shape.
