Before we get into the details, grab a brew, maybe a biscuit, and let’s be honest—job descriptions are usually a bit dull.
So, let’s keep it real. Caring for Care is the UK’s top-rated healthcare training provider. We train over 20,000 carers and nurses every year and have a highly driven, ambitious sales team.
We’re not looking for a consultant or contractor—we need someone fully invested in the business, someone who thrives on hitting targets but also understands that customer relationships, teamwork, and keeping on top of admin responsibilities are just as important.
This role is a mix of sales leadership, coaching, performance management, and problem-solving. It’s fast-paced, it’s challenging, and it’s incredibly rewarding for the right person.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Driving Sales & Performance
Motivate, lead, and develop a team of 6 inbound Course Advisors, with a potential outbound role. Drive the team to hit and exceed targets while maintaining high customer service standards. No shortcuts, no pushy tactics—we focus on long-term client relationships, not just quick wins. Identify new business opportunities and improve conversion rates.
2. Nurturing Customer Relationships
Ensure customer accounts are managed properly—no drop-and-run sales. Work with the team to build strong, lasting relationships with clients. Support the team in handling tricky customer situations with professionalism and confidence.
3. Holding the Team Accountable & Ensuring Fairness
Keep sales processes consistent—no favouritism, equal lead distribution, and clear targets. Ensure return-to-works, appraisals, performance reviews, and team development plans are completed on time and to a high standard. Address lateness, sick days, and performance issues fairly and consistently. If a team member isn’t effective, you step in quickly—no brushing issues under the rug.
4. Leading by Example & Problem-Solving
Be hands-on—jump in when needed, whether it’s closing a deal, solving a customer issue, or coaching a struggling team member. If a trainer cancels last minute or a big client has an issue, you help the team find solutions, not just point out problems. Work with the recruitment team to ensure we have enough trainers in the right areas to meet demand. Keep communication flowing between sales, operations, and leadership—everyone needs to be on the same page.
