The Growth Company’s (GC) Employment team has an excellent opportunity for an Employer Engagement Consultant to provide quality recruitment services to GC’s employment programmes, supporting customers and employers in the Salford and Walkden area.
GC Employment aims to make a lasting difference in the lives of people across the North of England and beyond by helping individuals gain meaningful employment.
Our highly skilled advisers and key workers work with a range of individuals, from those recently out of work to those facing complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental health issues, and debt.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sell our products and services to employers.
2. Identify clients’ recruitment and workforce development needs and tailor services accordingly.
3. Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with employers to encourage repeat business.
4. Meet with customers regularly.
5. Understand GC’s product range thoroughly and make referrals to relevant teams to meet monthly targets.
6. Keep all MI and systems updated daily.
7. Utilize communication skills to build your network through mailshots, cold calling, employer events, and collaboration with GC colleagues.
About You:
1. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with employers.
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Requirements:
1. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
2. Previous sales or recruitment experience.
3. Experience working to challenging targets within a sales environment.
4. KPI-driven with the ability to work under pressure.
5. Knowledge of recruitment and training services.
6. Good understanding of local labour markets.
7. Knowledge of welfare-to-work and the employability customer base is desirable.
