Role Description
This is a remote role for an Advisory Board Member at Pathway Consulting Group. The Advisory Board Member will be responsible for facilitating conversations with the target market leading to live solution deployments, hence lead generation for additional on-sales for Pathway Consulting Group via its novel OOH and digital media-driven signposting mechanism.
Additional duties may include strategic guidance and expertise in the areas of fundraising, deal structuring and IP licensing and distribution.
Qualifications
* Relationships with the travel ecosystem including hotels, resorts, cruise, possibly regulators including Maritime and Coastguard Agency/ies, Civil Aviation Authority/ies and Government procurement functions.
* Knowledge of the UN SDGs and Sustainable Finance and Development, public liability, burden of proof allocation and duty of care/Health and Safety at Work ie legal aspects.
* Knowledge of statutory due diligence and duties of care and in equality, ie:
* s35 ATOL Regulations 2012 and the CAA's fitness of character policy framework + international equivalents.
* s149 Equality Act 2010 for Design, Build AND Operate of the built environment covered by the legislation + international equivalents.
* s56 Public Contracting Regulations 2015 + international equivalents.
* EU 1177/2010 - Passenger Rights at Sea and the role of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency as the National Enforcement Body + international equivalents.
* s172 Companies Act 2006 - Directors' Duties + international equivalents.
* EWHC1841 (FoE v BEIS) case law on material data for statutory duty + international equivalents.
* EWCA Civ 715 (R (World Uyghur Congress) v NCA) case law on due diligence for avoidance of human rights abuses in the supply chain + international equivalents.
* Knowledge of Freedom Of Information, Information Commissioner's Office and Parliamentary and Healthcare Services Ombudsman, Serious Fraud, NHS Counter Fraud Authority and Equality and Human Rights Commission Offices + international equivalents.
* Knowledge of the Civil Service and Ministerial Codes and other association Codes of Conduct + international equivalents.
* Knowledge of EU CSRD/CSDDD (ESRS S1-4 and other areas), plus other mHRDD across our UN community.
* D&I evangelism, knowledge of accessibility of places covered by equality legislation (including in the dimension of time) and what tech4good means.
* Audit and assurance quality sensitivity.
* Counterparty due diligence and (conduct and reputational) risk management quality sensitivity, including with new case evidence presented in acknowledged invention (novelty and inventiveness).
* Finance and Analytical Skills.
* Experience in conducting research and data analysis.
* Fundraising experience and knowledge of investment strategies.
* Marketing skills and ability to identify market trends and opportunities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with a virtual team.
* Experience in the healthcare or consulting industry is a plus.
* Experience in and with the travel and technology industry is a plus.
* Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Strong ethical and can-do mindset. Able to get things done.
