We are seeking a skilled Robot Weld Programmer/operator to join our team based at Blackwater. As a Robot Weld Programmer, you will be responsible for setting up and operating robotic welding machines to produce a variety of fabricated components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Programme, operate and maintain robotic welding machines
* Inspect and ensure weld quality
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment and processes
* Train and assist other operators in robotic welding
* Test and validate robot programmes to ensure proper functionality and performance
* Identify and resolve programming issues.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in robotic welding or a related field.
* 2+ years MIG experience (a weld test will be carried out on interview).
* Experience working with various thickness materials.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* The ability to hit deadlines and achieve daily production schedules.
* Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, and be physically able to cope with typical factory duties including manual handling loads.
* Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
* Assist with other duties as and when required.
