Overview
MCS are delighted to be assisting a leading financial technology company who are seeking Data Operations Associates to join its growing Belfast team. This role involves delivering fast, high-quality financial, credit, and market data to support investment banks, asset managers, and law firms. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on leveraged finance, structured credit, private credit, and distressed debt while collaborating with teams in New York and London.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Monitoring: Track and analyse financial news, credit markets, and corporate disclosures to ensure timely and accurate updates.
2. Reviewing Articles: Review articles picked up by the in-house news aggregator, identifying price sensitive information.
3. Data Processing: Use proprietary technology to extract, validate, and maintain key financial and legal data.
4. Portfolio Management: Maintain and update investor relations details, reporting schedules, and financial results.
5. Structured Credit Updates: Track CLO deals, bond and loan redemptions, and ratings changes.
