Our client, a healthcare provider, is looking for a dental practice manager for their practice in Penzance.

The role:
1. Conducting quality performance reviews with all team members using the Performance Management system in line with the employee review cycle.
2. Ensuring all team members have relevant Personal Development Plans, with appropriate members adhering to the General Dental Council regulations for enhanced CPD.
3. Supporting the development and progression of team members in line with individual objectives, career pathways, and strategic business requirements.
4. Preparing and facilitating induction of new team members to ensure they feel prepared and supported.
5. Developing a high-performing team by managing individual performance to achieve company goals and targets.
6. Managing attendance and wellbeing of team members to maximize employee health and wellbeing.
7. Producing a monthly action plan to deliver targets, improve patient outcomes and experience, and seek new revenue opportunities.
8. Collaborating with the Business and Performance Lead to oversee performance and optimize location output.
9. Acting as the CQC registered manager to ensure regulatory compliance and supporting Clinical Directors to meet clinical standards.
10. Taking ownership of KPIs such as utilization, revenue, and availability.
11. Regularly updating management, governance, and compliance systems.
12. Managing controllable costs within the Profit and Loss account.
13. Optimizing clinical diary utilization considering patient needs and team requirements.
14. Maintaining quality assurance systems to meet regulatory standards.
15. Ensuring compliance with contractual and clinical governance guidance, including safeguarding.
16. Leading areas such as CQC Registered Manager, Radiation Protection Supervisor, IOSH trained person, Health and Safety, and Infection Prevention Control Lead.
17. Ensuring risk assessments are conducted and implemented.
18. Logging accidents, incidents, or events and collaborating on investigations and learning outcomes.
19. Adhering to all policies and procedures.
